Q; Who will be doing my ironing/laundry, and where?
A; It will be taken care of by our own people at our own premises in Sway. We do not farm it out to people who iron at home for extra money! We have had the same staff for 18 months now and they get to know your things! There is a record of who does your ironing on your bill. It’s usually the same person each time.
Q; Can you handle special requests?
A; Certainly. It’s a big part of what we do. Our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) ensure that you should only have to instruct us once!
Q; How do I arrange a collection or delivery?
A; Usually, just call or email your preferred day and Graham or Harry will call you back on that morning to fine tune the arrangements to suit you.
Q; What is your collection/return schedule?
A; If you need help urgently then we pull out all the stops but in general we:
Collect Monday-Return Wednesday
Collect Wednesday-Return Friday
Collect Friday-Return either Monday or Wednesday according to workload.
Q;Can I just call and leave a message?
A; Yes 24/7. Leave it with us and consider it done!
Q: We have had bad experiences before with ironing/laundry companies. How do we know that Whistle won’t lose or burn our clothes?
A: Our SOP’s make it impossible for us to lose anything. All of your items are put into sealed bags identified by your name and account number. Our personnel are trained only to process one client at a time. Not until your things are packaged, sealed and labelled for return, do they open another client’s bag.
It is impossible to burn clothes with our equipment.
Q: How much does it all cost?
A: It depends on what you send us as some prices are by item and others by weight. There are some examples on the Services page to give you a idea of what to expect. Last time we checked, the average spend was £29 but there are no minimum charges. If you talk to Kevin by phone he will explain further and send you a pricelist with pleasure. |
